Just saw on the news that Paul Newman has died of cancer. I consider him one of the last living legends of our time and who could resist those blue eyes. He will be missed greatly. You could always count on him for a wink and a smile in his movies. Just wanted to express my feelings for this great film star and man. He will be missed.
Just sitting here reading the blogs with a nice cup of coffee, it has been a lot cooler these past few days in sunny So. Cal. While the seasons don't change as much here as they do in other parts of the world, I do have to say that Fall is still my favorite time of year. It starts getting cooler, and while I don't really like it getting darker earlier, I still like the chill in the air over the hot summer nights. I love Football, pumpkins, getting together with relatives over Thanksgiving, the turning leaves and the wonderful crisp feeling in the air.
What is your favorite season of the year and why? Just thought it would be interesting to see everyones responses.
The olympics that is....I think that Michael Phelps is amazing. I very much enjoyed the opening ceremonies as well, can't wait to see what they do for the closing ceremonies. Just throwing the subject out there : )
Why do some guys think it is attractive (?) to put the number 69 in their profile name. I, myself, do not think it is very attractive, I find it more amusing, unless, of course it is truly their birthdate year. Anyhow, just an observation I guess. Just kind of strikes me silly.

Well I haven't been on this site in a while, it used to be the forums where everyone made comments, etc on different subjects, now I see it is the blogs. How is everyone doing? Just checking in to see what is going on. Don't think anyone would remember me, but that is ok, I am up to making new friends. Well just checking in, take care and hope to chat with some of you soon.
Just a stupid observation, I'm sure everyone else has noticed...but how come on the blogs, when someone's username comes up with their picture, that there is no location, or age that comes along with it as it does in the forums or when you do a profile search?? Just wondering....
OK, why is it when you have a few bucks in your pocket and you want to go buy yourself something nice to wear to work you can't find a thing?? I went to Kohl's today, and just could not find anything I liked. But I did end up buying myself a new purse and new sunglasses which I really needed. Just felt a little disappointed not buying myself a little somthing that I didn't really need. LOL
Another thing I noticed when I was there, they put the bathing suit section right next to the women's section. What's up with that??
